Bahamas Part 3

I guess I did this backwards, this is the end of our trip, see below for the beginning

I love how Paige is just one of the gang in this picture. This was at the Marina, we went almost everynight and watched the boats and listen to the live music. It was so cute, Connor and Elyse loved to dance to the music.
Bruce found a jellyfish for the kids to see. Apparently this kind doesn't sting so the kids could touch it
This was the lazy river ride - it was great. The kids loved it. Alida took Connor and Bruce took Elyse so I could take some pictures.

Connor and Elyse had so much fun on the trip. They really love each other and are so fun to watch. We all had a great time - I would definitely go back again!

Bahamas Part 2

The Bahamas

We decided to go on a last minute trip to Paradise Island, Bahamas. Bruce and Alida got a great deal so we decided to join them. Unfortunately Chris could not come because of work but Mom came to help out and have a vacation. We had an amazing time - it just wasn't long enough, when you are going that far with 2 little ones getting there is a battle and we only stayed 5 days! The girls did great on the plane and LOVED the water and beach. It was a big effort to get there but totally worth it!

This was Paige's first time swimming. We took her to the VRRI - she loved the warm water and didn't cry at all -- she was so relaxed she was sucking her thumb! I have another thumb sucker on my hands!

Elyse loves going down the slide - she has no fear and goes right under at the bottom.

Loving Fall

I have been loving the mild weather. It has given us lots of opportunities to go to the park. I took most of these at Confederation Park. I love it there, it is beautiful and Elyse loves to see the ducks.

No pictures of the Bride-to-be, just the cousins all watching SHREK. Charlie, Carson, Ashley, Elyse, Brooklyn and Quinn. It was a really fun shower and lunch.

My 2 year old!!

This is Elyse in her room when she should have been napping, I went in and she had taken off her diaper and put on her "rainy boots" to "clean-up" her room. I just had to laugh and grab the camera!
Precious Paige in a little knit hat that Grandma had bought in Germany for Elyse but it was too small and it fits Paige perfect!

New Camera

We just got a new camera and here are some shots of my girls. I love the black and white ones. Elyse is my little poser that is why I love the first one, she wasn't paying any attention to me.

Stampede! I think this was Elyse's favorite part. Who doesn't love "Those Little Donuts"

Elyse and Laura. She is all smiles now, but she really didn't like the "swings", she is still telling me how she didn't like this ride. We bought a ride pass but she was about an inch too short for most of the rides. We went on a few and she liked the funhouses and the Merry-go-round. Maybe next year we'll get to go on some other rides :)

Such nice hair

Elyse loves to suck her thumb and twist her hair. Well this morning she woke up with a HUGE knot that I couldn't untangle so here is the chunk we had to cut out! I am trying a french braid tonight but I don't think it will last long!

Beautiful Day at the Zoo

We had a great day at zoo - when we finally got there. Getting 2 kids out the door is quite the feat! I seem to always be at least an hour slower than I think. We were only there a short time but we got a season's pass (thanks Mom and Dad!!) so I am sure we will be back alot. Elyse is chasing after a peacock that was wondering around - it was pretty neat and she wanted to get up close - she has no fear of any animals - but bugs are another story :)

Paige really enjoyed her first Zoo visit - she slept through most of it.

Mom came with us to the zoo which was great. She is so helpful and I really do need another set of hands these days. It is hard to go any where with a newborn and a two year old.

I wish she was like this at 3:00am.Things are going well, Paige is a great baby but loves to party at night. She likes to wake me up every hour, nurse for 5 mins and then fall back to sleep for another hour or so. So we are all getting pretty sleep deprived

I like this picture - Paige is really good at scowling and loves looking at you like "what's going on around here?" I wonder sometimes too :)

Paige Sophia Vivier

Paige was born May 19 at 2:25am. She was 8lbs 4 oz and 21.5 inches long. She is a healthy, happy little girl. She has dark blue eyes and dark brown hair. We are so lucky to welcome her to our family


Happy Family. This is right after she was born. It was a pretty good labour - as good as it can be I guess :)







Elyse came to visit in the hospital. She loves Paige and being a big sister. We are all adjusting to our new roles.

So far Paige is a really good little baby. She is really mellow and sleeps lots during the day - around Midnight is her party time so we are all a bit sleep deprived but I guess that goes with the territory. I'll try to keep the posted updated as they change so much from day to day.

2 Year Photos

We went to have Elyse's pictures done for her second birthday. I am pleased at how they turned out. She was so co-operative I couldn't believe it. I had to wake her up and she protested pretty much the whole way there but then was such a good sport.
















This is a picture quite similar to one that I had done around my second birthday. We thought it would be neat to have one for Elyse too. She has WAY more hair than I ever did at her age.















I hadn't really planned on being in the pictures but the photographer told her to listen for the baby in Mommy's tummy and I just loved the look on her face!































I love how innocent she looks in this picture. She is our little angel.
