Drumheller

Last weekend we thought it was time to renew the family tradition of going to Drumheller. We had a great day, some unfortunate events (see pictures), but everyone had a lot of fun. First stop the Bleriot ferry. The kids liked it, the whole 2 minute ride of it :)

Next stop the Royal Tyrell museum. Also a hit with the kids. I hadn't been in years and it is really well done and just enough stuff to keep the kids interested.

I love the look of the badlands
I was surprised but none of the kids were at all scared of the swinging bridge.

The hoo-doos are must. The kids loved climbing on them.

Elyse at the hoo-doos.

Strike a pose. We all tapped into our inner model.

The girls doing a pose.
Mommy's turn to pose!

Cool pose "king of the world".

It is so fun to have Mom and Dad join us on these little adventures.

And now we get to a very familiar sight. Dad and his Audi's! The Audi caused many problems that day and this was the first of two tows. The last tow was all the way back to Calgary and I think it is the end of the Audi's for dad!!

This was the kids favorite part. Climbing up the world's biggest dinosaur. Look at those teeth!

We played count the dinosaurs and I didn't really realize until this trip that they are dinosaurs everywhere, basically on every corner!

Fun Summer activity

Skating anyone??
Dad's team had booked the rink but no-one could show up so we went with the kids.

They LOVED IT!!!

Elyse did so well, it was only her second time on skates and she was so excited to be doing it herself (with the help of the stand, of course). She cried when we had to leave.

Coleman was a good sport and liked to be pushed around in the stroller.

Vegas Baby

At the end of May; Alida, Shannon, Christie and I all hit Vegas for 4 days. We had a blast! No kids, warm weather and lots of shopping!!! It was a perfect, well needed break for all. I think we should make it an annual thing :)

We stayed at Excalibur, it is so crazy cheap in Vegas right now - $22.00 a night to stay.

We went to see "Le Reve" at the Wynn. What a beautiful hotel.
