Bruce and I took Connor and Elyse to the Flames game on Saturday. Unfortunately there is only 1 matinee game a year so we each decided to take a child. We had such a great time! Elyse is ready to go!
When we got to our seats, Harvey the Hound was there, in all the years I have gone to the games, he has never been in our section. Elyse was thrilled to see him and get her picture taken- talk about good luck!! She LOVES mascots, Connor on the other hand wasn't too thrilled to see him and refused to sit with him for a picture, it is funny how the kids are so different.
There was a reception before the game for long time season ticket holders (thanks Dad!!), it was great, we got free food and drinks and Connor won this Flames hat. He was nice enough to let Elyse wear it for some of the game.
The kids were really good for the game and loved to cheer. Does this look like a happy kid or what!
It was a beautiful day, the view of down town was great from the Saddledome. We of course had to get treats, a malt at the game is a must.
It was a good crowd at the game.
It was such a great day, it really couldn't have been any better, the kids loved it and Bruce and I had a great time too.
