I thought that since I just turned 33 - yikes! I would put some picture of my super fun birthday weekend on here. Chris and I went out for dinner and movie on Friday and then to Cheesecake after the movie for dessert, it was such a nice night! I haven't been out past 9:00 on a Friday night forever, there are actually a lot of people out and about :) I have to thank Mom and Dad for taking the girls for a sleepover and letting us have a great night and a morning to sleep in!
Ready for our date - almost 29 weeks pregnant. I had a baby shower to go on to Saturday.

Getaway to West Edmonton Mall
I felt that we needed a night away so we headed up to West Ed. There was a good deal at Fantasyland hotel that included the water park and breakfast the next day. The Kvellestad's decided to join us too. It was a really great break and we had so much fun!
The girls liked to play in the whale. After the waterpark we went to "Bourbon Street" and had dinner at the Spaghetti Factory. The kids had such a good time at the waterpark. Elyse loved the waterslides but Chris took her on an advanced one and that was bit too scary for her. Paige enjoyed playing in the waves and in the little playpark. The water was fairly warm and the kids didn't want to leave even though we were there ALL afternoon!

GOLD --- YEA CANADA
What a great Olympics. The men's hockey team won Gold yesterday over the Americans. We had everyone over for a little hockey party, it was really fun, lots of red shirts, good food and a great game! Canada did so well this Olympics with 26 medals and set a new world record for the most gold (14) ever at a Winter Olympics. The question now is what I am going to do with myself, we watched the Olympics pretty much everyday, all events and I really enjoyed it, now I guess I can get back to all the stuff I have been putting off :) The girls loved the spirit of the games and Paige would always say "I am cheering for the red team". Elyse loved the torch and the figure skating and cheering on the teams. It was a really fun 17 days!
